Boki LG Chairman, Hon. Ewa Hails Prof. Florence Banku Obi On Her Investiture
On behalf of my family and the great people of Boki Local Government Council, I most respectfully congratulate you Prof. Florence Banku Obi, on your swearing in and grand investiture as the 11th Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar.
It is remarkable to note that; at no point in the history of the Malabor Republic, has a woman been crowned with such an elevated office until this iconic moment. This is indeed an uncommon feat, a pride we shall gallantly wear as a local government through countless generations. We are exceptionally elated too that, as always, you are an even bigger inspiration to young people, females particularly. In you, they will be more assured that there is no limit to what anyone can achieve under the sun.
We know, Prof. that you will do well, that under your watch, the University of Calabar would become a leading star, the glory of University Education in West Africa.
May God in his infinite goodness fill you with an untamable zeal, an unsearchable depth and a matchless courage to take this great citadel of learning to a height untold.
