The Senate, on Tuesday, rejected the confirmation of Lauretta Onochie as a National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had nominated Lauretta Onochie, who is widely known to be a member of the All Progressives Congress, to take over from Mahmoud Yakubu as the new INEC commissioner.
