The Secretary of the Cross River State Anti- Deforestation Taskforce, Mr. Abang, Pius Bessong has felicitated with all Muslim faithfuls in the State on the occasion of this year's Eid-El-Kabir celebration, admonishing them to continuously practice the virtues of Love, Faith, Obidience, Sacrifice and kindness as examplified by prophet Ibrahim during and after the feast.

In his Salah message signed by his media, he also called on the leaders and followers of Islam to remember the less privileged amongst them, as this is one of the beauty of the Feast
Hon Abang reminded us that the Eid-El-Kabir reminds us of how the Almighty usually intervene to turn a situation of hopelessness into hope and expressed hope that Nigeria will be great again
While calling on the citizens to put aside our religious differences/grievances and embrace one another, he urged them to pray for the leaders at all level, especially the Governor of Cross River State, HE. Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu and the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, HE. Sen. Asiwuaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. GCFR. For God guidance and wisdom as they steer the affairs of our Nation with the RENEWED HOPE AGENDA.
