2027 — Cross River PDP Appoints Key State Executives, Urge Supporters to Remain Steadfast
The appointment was approved by the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party at its 36th meeting.
Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Cross River State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party has appointed five members to its state executive committee.
The appointment was approved by the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party at its 36th meeting.
Mike Ojisi, the State Publicity Secretary of the party, in a statement, said the appointment is in accordance with section 47 sub vi of the Constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2017 as amended.
He listed the appointees as “Mathias Njok (State Vice Chairman North), Thomas Okoroji Monday (State Youth Leader), David Adie (State Auditor), Queency Nkanu Essien Patrick (State Legal Adviser) and Helen Boco (State Organising Secretary).”
Ojisi added that the appointees will be inaugurated next week, and appointments for vacant positions at the Ward and Chapter levels will be announced in due course.
Ojisi further disclosed that the SWC urges all party faithful, loyalists, and supporters across the State to remain steadfast, united, and unwavering in their commitment to the party.
The PDP, he emphasised, is determined to forge ahead to reclaim its pride of place and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Cross River State.
