The Cross River State Police Command has issued a strong final reminder to all shortlisted candidates in the ongoing 2025/2026 police recruitment exercise to complete their screening before the closing date.
In a statement released on April 15 and signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Eitokpah Sunday, the Command confirmed that the screening exercise, which began on February 9, will officially end on April 18, 2026, with no room for extension.
According to the Command, any candidate who fails to appear for the screening within the stipulated time will automatically lose their opportunity and will not be considered for the next stage of the recruitment process.
The police emphasized that this is the final notice, urging all affected candidates across the state to take immediate action and present themselves at their designated screening centers without further delay.
The public has also been advised to take note of the deadline and ensure full compliance, as the recruitment process moves toward its next phase.
