The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially presented a Certificate of Return to the member representing Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency, Hon. Victor Abang, confirming him as the party's recognised candidate for the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the party, the certificate was issued to candidates whose nominations satisfied all legal and electoral requirements and had been duly recognised and published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Receiving the certificate, Hon. Abang expressed gratitude to the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, the APC State Chairman, Rt. Hon. Chris Sunny Etta, party stakeholders, members, and supporters across Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency for their continued confidence and support.
He described the recognition as a renewed call to service and pledged to remain committed to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the constituency.
Abang also called for unity within the party as preparations gather momentum for the 2027 general elections, expressing optimism that the APC would record another successful outing at the polls with the support of its members and the electorate.
