A youth-based support group in Cross River State, known as the Evidence Group, has announced a solidarity walk in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The group made this known in a press statement dated September 15, 2026, signed by its Director of Media and Publicity, Andrea Ekeng Inyang.

According to the statement, the walk will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Calabar, and will be tagged “WE DEY WORK, E DEY SHOW.”

The group said the walk is aimed at bringing young Cross Riverians together to show solidarity and showcase what it described as the visible evidence of the “Season of Sweetness” under the leadership of Governor Bassey Otu.

The walk is expected to begin at Millennium Park, Calabar, by 8:00am.

Evidence Group called on young people across the state, APC supporters, stakeholders and friends of progress to join the walk.

The group said participants would take to the streets to celebrate what it described as the work being done and the positive impact being recorded across Cross River State.

“This is not just a walk. It is a statement that the work is ongoing, the evidence is visible, and the people can see it,” the statement said.

The organisers also urged participants to come out peacefully and responsibly, saying the event would be held in the spirit of unity and support for the progress of Cross River State.
