Former Chairman of Boki Local Government Council, Hon. Abubakar Ewah Robert (JP), has stepped down for Chief. (Engr) Leo Afu for the Cross River State Central Senatorial seat ahead of 2023.

Hon. Ewah who has been the Special adviser to Cross River State Governor, Sen. Prof Ben Ayade, on Forest Conservation said the withdrawal was for the interest of the Boki People and for brotherhood.
