Retired civil servants in Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State have taken to the streets to protest years of unpaid gratuities and pension arrears.
The pensioners say they have endured prolonged delays in the payment of their retirement benefits, leaving many of them struggling to cope with daily living expenses.
The group also called on the Cross River State Government to urgently intervene, citing the growing economic hardship affecting retirees across the state.
