Hon. Shedrach Egede, Director-General of the Tinubu Youth Vanguard Organization (TYVO) and a prominent son of Cross River State, has taken another major step to strengthen grassroots mobilization for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election by distributing six operational vehicles to the organization's six zonal coordinators.
The gesture is aimed at improving coordination, logistics, and nationwide mobilization efforts as TYVO intensifies support for President Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda across the country.
The distribution of the vehicles comes as part of a broader strategy by the organization to build a formidable grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 polls. Earlier, Egede unveiled plans for the appointment of 774 local government coordinators—one for each local government area in Nigeria—to organize town hall meetings and engage communities in mobilizing support for President Tinubu's second-term bid.
According to Egede, the operational vehicles will enable zonal coordinators to effectively supervise activities within their respective geopolitical zones, coordinate grassroots campaigns, and ensure smooth implementation of TYVO's nationwide mobilization programmes.
Political observers say the initiative reflects TYVO's determination to establish an extensive nationwide campaign network well ahead of the next general election, with youth engagement and community-based outreach forming the core of its strategy.
Supporters have described the vehicle distribution as a demonstration of Egede's commitment to strengthening the organization's operational capacity and ensuring that its campaign structure remains active and effective across the six geopolitical zones.
With the appointment of 774 local government coordinators already underway and logistics now being enhanced through the provision of operational vehicles, TYVO appears set to intensify its grassroots campaign in support of President Tinubu's re-election in 2027.
