The National and state leadership of Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu.

During the visit on Friday, Governor Otu was conferred with the position of Patron of RTIFN in recognition of what the group described as his remarkable achievements and outstanding leadership over the past three years.

The honour was bestowed in acknowledgment of his administration's strides in road infrastructure, aviation development, education, and other critical sectors that have positively impacted the lives of Cross River residents.

The RTIFN delegation comprised key national officers, including Deputy National Coordinator, Zack Orji; National Secretary, Ambassador Dr. Felix Arome; National Women Leader, Dr. Umma Adamu; and other members of the National Executive Committee.

They were joined by the Cross River State Coordinator and host, Engr. Anjor Obande, alongside the Akwa Ibom State Coordinator, Chief Kingsley Oyong, and members of the Cross River State Executive Committee of RTIFN.

Speaking during the visit, Engr. Obande said RTIFN remains committed to supporting the successful continuation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, as well as Governor Otu's People First Agenda in Cross River State.

In his remarks, Ambassador Arome stated that RTIFN's mission extends beyond supporting President Tinubu's re-election bid. According to him, the group is also focused on educating Nigerians about the achievements of the current administration, which he said has recorded over 300 accomplishments within three years.

He urged citizens not to be swayed by misinformation and negative narratives but to take advantage of government initiatives such as the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and other people-oriented programmes aimed at improving livelihoods.

Responding, Governor Otu commended President Tinubu for progress recorded in key areas, including economic and fiscal reforms, social welfare, education, infrastructure development, and the energy sector.

He noted that many of the ongoing reforms are designed to deliver sustainable and long-term benefits for Nigerians and urged citizens to remain patient and supportive, stressing that the positive outcomes would become increasingly evident with time.

The governor also expressed appreciation for the recognition accorded him by RTIFN and pledged his continued support for the organisation's activities and objectives at both the state and national levels.

Governor Otu concluded by wishing the RTIFN team a successful rally, sensitisation campaign, inauguration, and medical outreach programme scheduled for June 6, 2026, in Calabar.
