The Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command, CP Ajo Geoffrey Ordue, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, visited the Cross River Broadcasting Corporation (CRBC), where he engaged the management and staff of the corporation during a media interview.
The visit formed part of efforts by the Police Command to strengthen its relationship with the media and improve communication with members of the public.
During the engagement, CP Ordue interacted with staff of the broadcasting corporation and discussed issues relating to policing, public safety and the importance of effective information sharing between the Police and the media.
After the interview, the Commissioner toured some of the broadcast facilities of CRBC, giving him firsthand knowledge of the corporation's operations and the equipment used in reaching residents across the state.
The Police Command said the visit underscores CP Ordue's commitment to building stronger partnerships with media organisations as a way of keeping the public better informed about security matters.
The partnership is also expected to promote timely dissemination of credible security information and strengthen public confidence in the Police Command.
