Former Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, has said the people of Ikom, Boki, Obubra and Etung are committed to the re-election of Governor Bassey Otu in 2027.
Ndoma-Egba made the declaration while speaking on the Ikom-Boki-Obubra-Etung (IBOE) Alliance, saying the bloc is also committed to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, the alliance believes Cross River must maintain a strong connection with the Federal Government.
“The people of Ikom, Boki, Obubra and Etung are committed to the return of Senator Bassey Otu as Governor in 2027.
“We’re also committed to the return of the President, HE Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We have to be connected to the Centre.”
Ndoma-Egba, a former Senate Leader and former Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has previously publicly backed second terms for both Tinubu and Otu.
