The Cross River State Police Command has reaffirmed the availability of its official communication channels as residents and visitors prepare for increased movement and social activities during the Yuletide season.
The Command, in a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Eitokpah Sunday Akata, on September 28, 2026, encouraged members of the public to promptly contact the Police whenever they require assistance, need to report an emergency or suspicious activity, or wish to lodge a complaint.
For emergencies and other urgent security matters, residents can reach the Police Control Room on 0704 177 7060 or 0705 335 5415.
Complaints relating to police conduct or service delivery can be directed to the Police Complaint Response Unit (CRU) on 0813 708 3052 or 0813 409 6900.
The Command also provided direct lines for its Police Public Relations Officer, 0706 797 7330 and 0905 827 3057, for media enquiries, requests for official information and clarification on Police activities.
The Police further advised residents and visitors across the state to celebrate responsibly, remain vigilant and avoid actions capable of causing public disorder during the festive period.
Residents were also urged to promptly report suspicious persons, activities or situations to the Police and cooperate with security agencies throughout the Yuletide season.
The Command said it remains accessible and committed to protecting lives and property, maintaining public safety and providing responsive policing services to residents and visitors across Cross River State.
