The Chief Whip of the Cross River State House of Assembly and member representing Boki II State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Hilary Ekpang Bisong, has expressed gratitude to his supporters across Ikom/Boki following the outcome of the APC political process.
In a statement dated May 15, 2026, Bisong thanked supporters, political associates, family members, and well-wishers who stood by him throughout his political journey and declaration of intent under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to him, the overwhelming support, prayers, sacrifices, and encouragement he received from communities, wards, and villages across Ikom/Boki were deeply inspiring and demonstrated the people’s belief in purposeful leadership.
Though acknowledging that the party had taken its decision, the lawmaker reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and stressed the need for unity, discipline, patience, and respect for collective decisions within the party.
Bisong highlighted his contributions to youth empowerment, education support, community development, legislative interventions, and human capital development, noting that the vision for a better Ikom/Boki remains alive.
He also encouraged supporters not to lose hope, stating that the current situation was “not the end of the road” but another chapter in a greater journey.
The APC chieftain specially appreciated youths, elders, women, and friends who campaigned and stood firmly with him both publicly and privately during the political process.
He concluded by praying for God’s blessings upon the people of Ikom/Boki and continued strength for the APC.
